Posting Criteria

Advertisements that don’t abide by our Terms and Conditions will be removed from the Site. Connect Click reserves the right to delete any ad without warning or other notification. Any advertisement suspected of being spam or fraudulent will be removed. Ads that have been paid for may not be refunded.

USERS MUST

• Register no more than one account. Users found with multiple profiles or to be sharing an account will be subject to whatever action Connect Click deems appropriate, including the suspension and/or removal of their profile(s). This doesn’t include couples that may advertise singly and as a couple, although their other profile must be mentioned in their profiles.
• Guarantee that all goods and services are legal for purchase/sale in the UK.
• Post only genuine photos, which are true depictions of the Good(s) or Service(s) being advertised or sought. False photos that are identified will result in the ad being removed from the Site.
• Make clear where premium rates are charged for a phone number.

USERS MUST NOT

• Post ads unless they are over 18 years of age.
• Post ads for Goods or Services that are illegal or regulated by law.
• Post ads intended to promote sites or services similar to ConnectClick.co.uk.
• Promote or advertise rewards, lotteries or other prizes.
• Include phone numbers, email or website addresses in the title, profile, photo or message of the advertisement.
• Post duplicate ads in multiple categories.
• Offer the sale or purchase of multiple, unrelated Goods or Services in the same ad.
• Put ads in the wrong category or subcategory.
• Post any photos that are not genuine. Connect Click reserves the right to ask for identification to verify. If abuse of the features available on this site is found, Connect Click will take action.
• Post ads those are too brief or ambiguous (this can result in ads being labelled as spam).
• Use anyone’s information (name, phone number, mailing address, email, photos, etc.) without their consent, or provide false contact details.
• Disclose materials that are private, or which violate the privacy of any person or company (including publishing of faces or signatures)
• Copy information posted by other Users.
• Publish content that violates physical or intellectual property rights.
• Disturb the activities of other Users.
• Assume the identity of Connect Click or its employees.
• Promote any websites or include links in your ad (unless the ad has been paid for).
• Post comments that are false, defamatory, profane, hateful, abusive, obscene, sexually explicit, or deemed inappropriate by Connect Click.
• Post ads for the following Goods or Services:
  • Illegal and stolen goods, drugs or related materials;
  • Tobacco and alcohol;
  • Drugs or medical products;
  • Used lingerie;
  • Police or other official insignia and uniforms;
  • Counterfeit goods, imitations, unauthorised copies;
  • Dangerous items such as rifles, pistols, paintballs, gasses, explosives or any object intended to inflict harm (this list is incomplete)
  • Haematic products, body fluids, organs or other bodily products;
  • Furs and skins, turtle shells, wood products (this list is incomplete);
  • Large-scale quantities of multimedia products (audio, video, telephones, computers, etc.);
  • Any item or service that requires that the advertiser be an exclusive and/or authorised third party dealer in the product, i.e. designer clothes collectively “Goods and/or Services”.

POSTING CRITERIA FOR SPECIFIC CATEGORIES

RESPECT OF PRIVACY

• To reduce the risk of spam, all e-mails between users are conveyed anonymously, through our server.
• Certain information must be collected from users for the advertising process to work efficiently, but they retain full control of the information accessible by the public. If one decides on the option of receiving special offers from selected third parties, their email address may be rented, but it will not be sold or transferred to third parties under any circumstances. Users can unsubscribe from our marketing emails by simply clicking on the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom.

LEGITIMACY OF ADS

• ConnectClick.co.uk will not keep out-dated listings active on the site intentionally.
• Ads that have been active on the Site for more than 30 days are removed in all categories. Paid advertisements expire when their allotted time has elapsed.

MODERATION OF ADS

• ConnectClick.co.uk will delete any advertisement that is prohibited by UK law, placed in the wrong category/city, or contains obscene or abusive content and that advertisement will not be refunded.
• Users are urged to report ads that are in violation of our Terms and Conditions [Report here].
• Users are encouraged to report fraudulent ads to Connect Click or directly to Action Fraud, the UK’s national fraud reporting centre.

DATA PROTECTION

• Users have the legal right to access, modify, correct and delete data, which concerns them. If you wish to alter any information we hold about you or remove yourself completely from ConnectClick.co.uk, please contact us here [email protected].

REPORTING SYSTEM

 If you encounter or become aware of any objectionable or infringing or unlawful content posted anywhere on the Site, please immediately report such material (and the specific page on which it is found) using the form below. Please include:

• Your full name and contact details;
• A description of the objectionable material; and
• Your reasons as to why you are offended by the material, or you believe the materials are in breach of copyrighted, a trademark or represents content not authorised by the owner, or is otherwise unlawful.

Please note that there may be adverse legal consequences if you make a false or bad faith allegation through this process. You acknowledge and agree that, while Connect Click reserves the right to remove any Content from the Site at any time, Connect Click shall not be responsible for issuing “Take Down Notices” to any third party site and Connect Click shall have no liability for the posting of any Content by a User.
